1. Collection of Personal Information
We only collect information strictly necessary to establish storefronts: business names, owner contact names, email addresses, and Stripe Connect account identifiers. In accordance with PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, no data is collected without explicit merchant consent.
2. Responsibility & Consent
Our Privacy Officer oversees all data protection protocols. By submitting your registration, requesting a magic login link, or linking a Stripe account, you grant consent to share necessary details for store configuration and transaction routing.
3. Right to Portability & Complete Erasure
Quebec merchants have the explicit right under Law 25 to request a portable digital copy of their storefront configuration data or demand the complete, permanent deletion of their account profile and store records by contacting privacy@fortoi.com.
4. Security & Edge Infrastructure
All platform traffic is routed via secure Cloudflare Edge servers. Data is processed locally in Canadian zones where possible, preventing foreign jurisdiction exposures.
